Sponsor

Project Summary

The goal is to design and development of a travel logging system capable of measuring and storing the acceleration, the rotation and the temperature of an object.

The project requirements are:

  1. Easy to use (usability)
  2. Sensing module (temperature, gyros, accelerometers, RFID,?)
  3. Power module (solar panel, batteries, mains): autonomy ? h)
  4. Control module;
  5. User interface module
  6. Reuse provided components or low cost hardware solutions
  7. Use open source and freeware software
  8. Adopt the International System of Units (UNIST International Guide for the use of the International System of Units)
  9. Be compliant with the Machines Directive (MD), Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive.
